Exciting opportunity for an experienced Change Manager with 5+ years’ experience to join NHVR. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing change activities within ServiceNow implementation projects. In this role, you will provide specialised change management expertise across Technology Operations and Cyber Security (TOCS) initiatives, supporting multiple projects and work packages. You will work across Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Network initiatives, managing a broad range of organisational impacts and supporting NHVR employees and stakeholders throughout periods of change. This is a maximum-term contract for two years, based at NHVR’s Newstead office.
About the Role
- Be a change leader for the TOCS initiatives including mentoring and coaching project teams on change management methodology (Prosci preferred) and tools to uplift people capabilities and enable a consistent change approach across the projects.
- Manage adherence to the structured NHVR change management methodology and develop a scaled approach for managing the impact of transformational changes across various business areas within the organisation.
- Develop and implement strategies that will drive and support organisations adoption and proficiency with changes that impact employees across all levels.
- Identify and implement training and education requirements and developing relevant training needs analysis and plans.
- Develop and deliver training for NHVR teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver knowledge transfer plan for the business as usual (BAU) team.
- Support the business to be ready to accept the change, utilise new capability, and ensure the successful delivery and embedding of this change into the business.
- Coordinate the management of dependencies and interfaces between the project and change management, addressing change risks throughout the project.
- Provide technical change leadership and direction supporting the Project Managers.
- Responsible for creating and implementing a tailored set of change management, communication and communication artefacts and plans for moving people forward for the project.
- Work collaboratively across all business units to integrate change management activities into the project management planning and development and execution.
- Assist in the development of measurement strategies to determine business readiness and sustainable success/progress of planned milestones/outcomes.
- Proactively and effectively manage resistance while generating collaboration and alignment between business units.
- Actively partner and build relationships with all levels of stakeholders through negotiation and influence to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
- Set up change champion communities for larger projects.
- Promote project teamwork and role model organisational and team values to achieve project outcomes.
- Contribute to NHVR and the project to put forward ideas for continuous improvement in our ways of working.
- Adhere to all NHVR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NHVR internal processes.
- Comply with WH&S policies and procedures and contribute and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
About You
- Hands on experience with ServiceNow change Management and end to end change implementation.
- Experience utilising a diverse range of contemporary change management methodology.
- Experience working on a small portfolio of projects within a dispersed organisation across Australia in a change management role, including organisational design, process improvement, job design, system changes, training and communications.
- Lead project change activities to achieve project outcomes.
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to apply an enterprise lens.
- Demonstrated experience in whole of organisation transformational change (processes and technology/digital).
- Experience in developing change management artefacts e.g., Change management plans, change impact assessments, stakeholder impact analysis, engagement plans, sustainability plans, business readiness plans, communications, and training plans.
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity to define clear outcomes and solutions with a flexible approach.
- Demonstrated experience in managing senior stakeholders.
- Experience executing change management plans, planning and the delivery of both internal and external engagement and change and communication campaigns.
- Strong consulting, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively operate and work autonomously in a complex, matrix environment.
- Experience building consensus for change across all functional areas within a business.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential to the Role:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership change management role in a program/project environment
- Formal change management education e.g. PROSCI.
Highly Regarded:
- Degree level qualification preferably majoring in Business or Information Technology.
- At least 5 years’ experience in change management and engagement activities within a complex program/project environment.
