About the role 

As the Finance Business Partner, you will provide proactive financial business partnering to leaders across the business covering financial advice, analysis and insights to support operational and strategic outcomes, while ensuring compliance with financial policies and legislative requirements. 

Key responsibilities of this role are: 

  • Preparing and analysing financial reports, budgets and forecasts. 

  • Supporting stakeholders to understand financial performance and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.  

  • Building strong internal relationships with a customer-focused approach.  

  • Helping drive financial accountability and business success.

About You  

To be successful in this role you will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and turning financial data into meaningful business insights. 

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate financial information in a clear and practical way will enable you to influence decision-making across the organisation. 

Whether you are supporting budget development, analysing financial performance, preparing forecasts or responding to stakeholder queries, you will bring a proactive and solutions-focused approach to your work. 

Your toolkit for success: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline. 

  • A minimum of five years' experience in accounting, finance or business partnering roles. 

  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and financial analysis. 

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. 

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills. 

  • Experience using financial management systems. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 

  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to working collaboratively within a high-performing team.
