About the role

The Manager Corporate Systems is responsible for the management, development, and delivery of corporate systems, covering functions including Human Resources, Finance, Learning, Payroll, Operations, Contract Management, etc.

As a strategic leader, the role contributes to aligning corporate systems with organisational goals and ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and best practices.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Leading a portfolio of corporate systems, including ERP and associated operational modules, driving both strategy and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the performance, functionality, and availability of corporate ERP systems, ensuring they align with business and operational needs.
  • Manage system configurations to support HR, Finance, Payroll, and other key organisational processes.
  • Lead process redesign and system optimisation initiatives across modules such as learning management, payroll, contract management, and finance.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation, workflow efficiency, and user experience improvements.
  • Plan and deliver projects to implement system upgrades, integrations, or process changes in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the adoption of new ERP functionalities with effective training and change management strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals responsible for corporate systems.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess a minimum of 5 years expertise in managing corporate ERP systems across multiple functions including HR, Finance, Learning, Payroll, and Contract Management functions.

You will have demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your toolkit for success:

  • Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders to define business needs and align system capabilities with operational goals.
  • Proven experience driving process enhancements and system optimisation projects.
  • Experience managing change implementation and minimising disruptions during transitions or upgrades.
  • Proficiency in facilitating integrations between ERP systems and other business tools.
  • Experience in implementing business continuity and capacity management strategies. 
  • Certification or experience in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics 365) and ITIL Service Management Framework is desirable.
  • Strong experience with tools like Definitive, PageUp, MS Dynamics 365, DoneSafe, and Vendor Panel, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) commenced operations in 2013 as the national entity responsible for regulating all vehicles in Australia over 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass. The NHVR minimises the compliance burden on the heavy vehicle transport industry, reduces duplication and inconsistences across state and territory borders, and ultimately for the heavy vehicle business with government in Australia.
