We are looking for a highly organised administrative extraordinaire to Provide administrative support, including preparing duty rosters, email and diary management for the Principal Safety and Compliance Officer and support the effective delivery of prosecution services through the provision of high-level administrative support, research and the preparation of information and reports. Fixed Term contract until 23 December 2026 based in Launceston. Hybrid working model.
About the Role
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to manage effective relationships with customers, stakeholders and colleagues.
- Demonstrated strong levels of written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to prepare a range of documentation for the business.
- Extensive experience in using a range of business systems and information technology, including MS Office Suite.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and responsibilities, pay attention to detail and make critical deadlines.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to apply sound judgement to decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage support services and task to establish a course of action for self and others to achieve specific objectives and deliver expected outcomes.
About you
Highly Regarded:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in administration roles.
- Demonstrate organisational and administrative skills with extensive experience in supporting senior management and others.
- Industry recognised qualifications and/or relevant experience in business administration.
- Experience and prior working knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry and Regulatory Compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate across a range of internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in using technology and systems.
- Demonstrated time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
