You’ll work at a strategic level to bring people, processes, data, and tech together to build a clear, modern roadmap for how NHVR operates, now and in the future.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

• Lead enterprise-wide architecture aligned to NHVR’s future direction
• Shape practical implementation roadmaps, balancing big-picture thinking with real-world delivery
• Engage across all levels of business and IT to make decisions that matter
• Provide coaching, guidance, and governance around architectural practices
• Help drive safe, consistent and scalable systems that support productivity and regulatory reform

 About You

• You bring over 10 years of experience across multiple architecture disciplines
• Strong understanding of modern digital architecture, platforms, and service delivery models
• A strategic thinker who can balance long-term goals with immediate business needs
• You are respected for your ability to influence, guide and build strong working relationships across technical and non-technical teams
• Motivated by meaningful work, and take pride in delivering practical, lasting outcomes that support organisational success

The NHVR minimises the compliance burden on the heavy vehicle transport industry, reduces duplication and inconsistences across state and territory borders, and ultimately for the heavy vehicle business with government in Australia.
