We’re looking for a driven and experienced Procurement Team Lead to oversee and coordinate procurement activities across our Data and Technology portfolio.
In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end procurement processes, including high-value and high-risk tenders, while guiding evaluation panels and ensuring robust, compliant outcomes. You’ll bring strong expertise in commercial negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship management, helping deliver strategic value across the organisation.
This is a permanent position based at our Newstead Head Office.
About You
You’re a hands-on leader who thrives on getting things done. 7+ years of experience in ICT procurement or a similar role, you have a proven track record of managing complex procurement initiatives and building effective, high-performing teams. You’re confident leading from the front, balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery.

About the Role
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide strategic procurement advice.
- Manage high-value sourcing activities, including procurement strategies, RFX documentation, evaluation processes, and contract development.
- Build and manage supplier relationships, including market engagement and supplier briefings.
- Lead procurement planning and pipeline management to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Mentor and support the D&T procurement team, promoting best practice sourcing and capability development.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with organisational policies, governance frameworks, and probity requirements, while driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 7+ years demonstrated experience in ICT lead procurement roles.
- Degree qualification in Supply, Procurement, Business, Commerce or similar discipline or equivalent experience in complex organisations.
- Formal procurement qualifications, CIPS or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Experience in managing and optimising modern procurement management systems.
