About the role
The primary objective for the Stakeholder Engagement Officer is to implement NHVR’s stakeholder engagement strategies including informing, consulting and involving stakeholders in selected states and identify stakeholder issues and act appropriately to process these issues.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
• Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders
• Inform and educate industry on their HVNL obligations through a variety of relevant engagements to enable a safe and efficient transport industry.
• Contribute to the overall development and maintenance of the NHVR’s reputation
• Implement NHVR’s stakeholder engagement strategies and guidelines
• Identify issues and trends impacting the NHVR, including monitoring the external environment for information relating to implications and risks of potential public opinion issues
• Monitor stakeholder satisfaction, including developing and implementing strategies for continually improving stakeholder satisfaction.

About You
As the ideal candidate you will be well versed in interacting with a broad range of transport industry stakeholders, with an aptitude for supporting and educating industry toward safe and productive outcomes. You will have a sound knowledge of the HVNL and the ability to work with internal teams to discuss and instigate resolutions for insights that arise through your activities. You will have the ability to prioritise and problem solve, with customer experience at the centre.
To be successful in this role you will possess
This role requires regular travel across Victoria and Tasmania predominantly with the requirement to travel to other states in Australia intermittently.
