Opportunity for a Contracts Support Officer at the NHVR, this role provides essential support in managing contracts and supplier relationships for NHVR. This role assists with contract administration and ensures data integrity within the contract management system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all contracts. The role will be based at Head Office, Newstead.

The Contracts Support Officer provides essential support in contract administration and lifecycle management for NHVR. This includes maintaining contract registers, milestones, and reporting, preparing purchase orders, managing documentation, and ensuring data integrity within the contract management system. The role supports contract performance monitoring, compliance, and reporting, assists with system implementation and staff training, and helps resolve discrepancies or issues in collaboration with contract owners and stakeholders. You will ensure all contract management processes comply with NHVR policies, governance standards, and legislative requirements, while contributing to continuous improvement and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills, attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation, coupled with excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required, and familiarity with contract management software or tools is highly advantageous.

About You

 

  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in similar procurement, contract management or system training support role.
  • Knowledge and experience in contract management systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
